If the unit is heating but no steam is coming through the arm, the issue is typically with the arm/steam outlet (such as internal blockage or failure) rather than the main base. In most cases you would only need to replace the steamer arm, not the entire Katana steamer, unless there are additional problems like leaking, power failure, or error messages from the base unit.

If the steamer arm is shooting out hot water rather than steam, please stop using it immediately, as this usually indicates that the water level is too high, the unit is overheating/boiling too vigorously, or the arm is not seated or angled correctly so condensation or boiling water is being forced out.
