It is a towel warmer with UV light, it warms up the towels and UV light disinfect surface of the areas that get in contact with. If you need something strictly for sterilization and killing bacteria you need medical grade autoclave.

You need to keep the towels in there minimum 45 minutes to make it warm, this is not a microwave oven for quick warm up, this is a towel warmer to keep your towels warm for the entire work day.

Usually for spa or salon use, you wet the towels then squeeze and take the excessive water out of towels then you put them in the warmer.
