Delfin STAR is a point of sale (POS) consumer skin analysis and skin care product recommendation system created for in-store or spa applications. The system gives consumers an instant insight to their skin condition and allows sales person or aestheticians to discover the customers skin needs to offer different products.
STAR Device has a 4-inch LCD touch screen with an Android user interface. The device utilizes electrical and skin image-based technology to analyze multiple skin parameters including moisture, pigmentation, pore cleanliness, pore size, sebum, roughness, and skin texture. Results are analyzed within seconds and displayed in an easily understandable format. Detailed skin images disclose the condition of the skin and helps in finding suitable skin care products.
The system works on a 3-element basis:
STAR DEVICE to analyze the skin, STAR Counselling App (tablet) to give product recommendation to the end user, and PC-based STAR Product Manager to import and manage product data. It has been developed for an In-Store POS implementation. The targeted Points of Sales are the cosmetic brand stores, beauty salons, pharmacies, and spas.
Endowed with a slick design, a state-of-the-art imaging and programming, and a 4-inch LCD touch screen, STAR allows the aestheticians or salesperson to carry out a fast and extensive skin analysis (moisture, pigmentation, pore cleanliness, pore size, sebum roughness, and skin texture) leading to personalized skin care product recommendation. The Slick design offers ergonomics, portability, and easiness to use.
The State-of-the-art imaging results from detailed skin image with x7 magnification and 3 different lightings according to what you want to measure (standard, polarized and UV light), and the programming offers a user-friendly software for updating and editing product recommendation. The 4-inch LCD touch screen works with an Android user interface.
