It comes already assembled and you need very minimum assembly. Basically just putting or pushing the items in its place.

Yes you do have the option to purchase the steamer separately. It would be a custom made and depending on availability lead-time could vary anywhere from 2-8 weeks. Please contact our customer service to be able to place an order for it or if you have any questions.

No ticking noise it is a digital steamer, but it has caution beep when the timer goes to zero.
